About GAME TOGETHER
Indie games have no shortage of great work — what they lack is the chance to be seen. GAME TOGETHER is a directory and ranking of indie games: creators submit their own games, and players cast one vote each day to bring good games in front of more people.
What we don’t do
- We don’t host games. Every game links to the creator’s own page (itch.io, Steam, a personal website, etc.). We are only a directory and a place for recommendations.
- No fees, no commission. Submitting and playing are both free, and we are not involved in any payments.
- No adult-oriented games. This reflects the limits of what we can handle, not a value judgment. See Section 5 of the Terms of Service for details.
How it works
One vote a day, for one game
Each user gets just 1 vote per day, for 1 game. You can change your vote during the day, but it is always one vote in total — that is what gives a recommendation its weight. The day resets at midnight Taipei time, and that is when your new vote comes back.
Trending (last 7 days)
The main ranking uses a rolling window with no periodic resets — yesterday’s votes still count today and naturally drop out after 7 days. Each week’s top game is permanently archived in the Hall of Fame.
New releases
Games listed within the last 14 days get a guaranteed spot. Without it, new games could never beat older titles that have been collecting votes for a long time.
Favorites
Favorites are visible only to you and don’t affect rankings — they are bookmarks, not votes.
Reports and review
Every game goes through manual review before it goes public. If a listed game has a broken link or problematic content, anyone can report it from the game page.
Want to submit your own game?
First, apply to become a creator: enter the external link where your game lives and place the verification code we give you on that page, so we can confirm the page really belongs to you. Once approved, you can submit games.
To keep the rankings fair, new accounts can vote only after 24 hours have passed since registration. In the meantime, you can still browse and add favorites.
